[Transversity] EVO Booking : Hall A Transversity Collaboration Meeting from Fri, 24 Jul 09 08:00 -0500 (GMT-05:00)

Dear Transversity Collaborators,

We are going to use EVO for our collaboration meeting for those that would 
like to participate.  The details to join the EVO meeting are listed 
below.

Please remember that if you have not previously used EVO, you should give 
yourselves a few extra minutes to register an account.

In any case, the basic steps for joining the meeting are as follows as 
provided from the Hall A collaboration meeting in December:

1) Go to the EVO site at http://evo.caltech.edu.
2) Register if necessary to create your personal log-in
3) Make sure that your computer has a recent version of Java installed. 
(It works without further ado on RHEL5, any mac machine, or my SUSE 10.1 
laptop.) Read the EVO
manual if necessary (available at the site).
4) Click "Start" and log in. The Java client will be downloaded and 
started, which may take a few minutes.
5) In the "Configuration" menu, select "Videoconference Client", then 
click the "EVO Tools" radiobutton.
6) Close the configuration window
7) In the list of meetings, find the "Transversity Collaboration Meeting" 
(in the "Universe" community), scheduled to start at 8am EST (1 hour 
allowance for setup).
8) Double-click the meeting and enter the password: trans111.
9) The top window will change into a virtual meeting room with one icon 
per participant.  More windows should appear showing either a message "no 
video" or live audio/video from one or more participants.
