[Vetroc_daq_sbs] Gain Calibration II

Hello everybody,

I check the weird channel 12 (from 0) and it is a PMT quite bad. The calibration files show a very bad ADC histogram and with low gain. In principle, 4 and 54 were the bad ones, so we should add one more. It is not bad as the other two, but I won't trust on it.

I made a macro which give the HV values depending of where the SPE peak is desired in the ADC v792 spectra. Right now the value is set to be at ADC=100. The macro also creates a HV settings file which should be read by the HV GUI. The problem is that the program is not able to load always the values of any setting file (it loaded to me only once). Not only the one I created, none. Anyhow, the file is created and stored in slowc/GRINCH/hv_set with the name GRINCH_HV_settings_<ADCvalue>.set

The calibration files and the macro to run the above explanation are located in /v792_decode/calib with a soft link at the home directory. The macro is called set.C . Just open root and execute .x set.C fill the value of the ADCchannel desired and enter. The corresponding value for each PMT and the HV channel are printed on screen (and the HV settings files).

Cheers

-Carlos
