Dear All:
We will have our next weekly A1n/d2n meeting tomorrow (Tuesday October 29th) at 2:30pm. Bluejean information is shown below. Starting this week we will change the meeting frequency to once per week (and will asymptotically approach once a day/RC meeting).
I have a few items on my list to discuss:
Cell production status -- Gordon or Todd?
Hall target status (incl laser safety) -- Jianping
Cooling jet status -- Todd, with me supplementing calculation on multiple scatterings
Raster -- I believe Mark Jones is away. Can someone report on this?
Software status -- Brad or Sylvester
Beam - Jay?
Online shift instruction and shift checklist status -- Melanie?
Helicity and decoding -- Steve and/or Melanie?
Shifts filling status -- Greg Smith (first RC)?
Please add items that I may have overseen.
Meeting minutes can be found at:

Thanks,
- Xiaochao

There are specific policies that reduce or eliminate unproductive meetings:
No meeting without an agenda -- good point!
No "status updates" during which you "go around the room." -- sure, will do!
No meeting longer than 30 minutes. -- sorry, can't do this sometimes!
Leave a meeting the moment you realize you're not adding value -- sure, and drop everyone.
Replace PowerPoints with a group reading of a briefing document -- can't see the difference. Is there a difference?
