[Ace] Use of Small Switches in TDEF

I wanted to forward some information I got from Bryan regarding people 
who need more ports in the TDEF.

If there aren't enough network jacks in a particular location, there are 
two options: They can contact CNI (or Jason in Facilities) and have more 
lines run for $250 each, or they can purchase a Cisco managed 8 port 
switch by giving CNI an account code to write a requisition against. 
Those switches are about $850.

Also: Never attach phones to switches in offices, only to wall jacks 
that go back to the closet switches which have better power.

I have a strong preference for pulling more jacks rather than adding
more switches. We have put a lot of money into closet switches that can
handle the load.
