Starting the week of January 12th. The following two UPSs began giving an alarm for needing battery replacement. These units are the same model and have a similar manufacture date of 02/2023. Both are using NMCs of model AP9630. Their batteries had a date of May and April 2023.

We swapped the battery on the NL UPS and it reported healthy after a self test using the front panel. However, it did not prompt us to set a new battery install date upon removal / install of the new battery. The date was set manually via the NMC.
The SL UPS did not get a battery swap but was troubleshot via the NMC. Upon leaving on 01/16/2024 the NMC still reported a battery in a failed state. The UPS switched to battery power between the 16th and 18th and now reports as healthy. A self-test was run and the system still seems to be healthy.

It's possible these UPSs have some type of bug or other issue that we will monitor. I believe I recall them alarming within the last 6-8 months but the issue clearing up. I expect that it could be an issue with the NMC.

Both units have carried their loads during power outages and distorted input events. So I do not believe there is any functional concern at this time.
