Gary,
I plan to attend and expect to be solo.
There is a bulk mulching company about half a mile from the house: https://jcmulch.com/
There are quite a few ways to get good firewood. You have to be a little careful with Facebook Marketplace; but can save money finding someone on there that is good to go. For a painless experience that costs a little more I have used 'Williamsburg Firewood'. https://www.williamsburgfirewood.com/
Regards,
Erik

Subject: [acg] Celebration of Life for Antony
Hey Everyone,
I spoke to Sarah on Friday. Anthony's Celebration of Life is Sunday September 29, 2pm to 4pm. She said she would like to keep it to about 20 work colleagues, including spouses, so we may not be able to extend the invite far beyond the group. Let me know if you plan on attending, and whether you'll have a +1. Then if there's room for others, we can discuss priorities.
I asked a little about some of the ideas folks had for helping / contributing somehow. She loved the idea of the tree / trees, rather than flowers. Regarding landscaping, she said a delivery of mulch and wood for the stove would be great, so we'll arrange something soon. They are doing fine for food at the moment. Sage loves any kind of t-shirt or hoody that is lab or science related. I'll check with Dave Abbott if we have any from previous years, or if we can order them. Thanks to those who've already got some.
She's planning to have the work party / cookout in October some time. This would be open to anyone who wants to come.
Gary
