Sprint cell phone service interruptions on-site

Sprint is currently experiencing problems with the cell tower across from the laboratory behind Dixie Trailers.  Since this is the closest Sprint cell tower to the laboratory it is impacting Sprint service at Jefferson Lab.  Calls made to or from Sprint phones are being dropped or not connecting.  Areas impacted at the laboratory include: outside, tunnels, halls, CEBAF Center F-wing, and the SSC.  We are working with Sprint to find a solution.  More details will be provided as they become available.

As always, to report an emergency, you should call 911 or 9-911 first. Then immediately call Jefferson Lab security (JLab extension 5822 or cell phone 757-342-9868) and advise them of the 911 call, and the nature and location of the emergency.  In most cases, you can use a JLab land line phone.
