[All_jlab_accounts] Run-A-Round Update: Results Online; T-shirt Distribution Underway; Taking Special Orders Through June 5

Thank you very much for the great turnout on May 13 for Jefferson Lab’s 
30th annual Run-A-Round! The Jefferson Lab Activities Group (JAG) 
extends its thanks to everyone who helped with the event, to all the 
individuals who participated in the T-shirt design contest and to all of 
the runners, walkers and stroller pushers who participated.

There seems to be more participation in the Run-A-Round each year! More 
than 475 runners crossed the finish line this year, and there were 13 
entries in the T-shirt contest!  Even the volunteer list filled up early 
for the event.

Awards were given out to the first three winners in each age category, 
Masters (46 and older) and Overall.Those who have not yet received their 
awards may pick them up at Dave Abbott’s office, CEBAF Center, F Wing, 
Office F268. To ensure he is available, call him at ext. 7190.

*2015 T-Shirt Distribution, Sales and Special Order Details:* This 
year’s T-shirt contest had 13 entries. The winner was Andrew Kimber from 
the Engineering Division.The shirt is slate blue with the periodic table 
spelling out the phrase “JLab Exploring the Nature of 
Matter.”Congratulations Andrew!


Those who have not yet picked up their T-shirts: Volunteers with a 
T-shirt voucher; or those with a bib tab with a sticker on it (the 
detachable square on the lower right of the bib) may pick up their free 
T-shirts at the CEBAF Center Reception Desk, Monday through Friday 
during normal business hours.

*Volunteers:*If you have not received a T-shirt voucher, please contact 
your volunteer coordinator, or Mary Jo Bailey at ext. 7277 no later than 
Friday, May 29.


Starting on Monday, May 18, T-shirts may be purchased for $7 at the 
CEBAF Center Reception Desk.The following items with this year’s design 
printed on them are also being made available and can be ordered before 
June 5.Expect two weeks for delivery:

Short Sleeve, Youth: M - XL, $6

Long Sleeve, Adult: S - XL, $11

Long Sleeve, Adult: 2XL - 5XL, $13

Long Sleeve, Youth: M - XL, $10

Hoodie, Adult: S - XL, $21

Hoodie, Adult: 2XL - 5XL, $26

Hoodie, Youth: M - XL, $20


The Run-A-Round is a great event and lots of fun. We cannot do any of 
this without your help!  Thanks go out to the JAG committee, Facilities 
Management and Logistics, Quark Cafe and Security staff and to all our 
volunteers for all your efforts for the event.
