Starting on Feb. 1, 2017, logins to Jefferson Lab computer systems with
access to sensitive information (business and operations) will require
multi-factor authentication (MFA).Authentication to these systems will
no longer allow the use of username and password.
We thank the Lab staff for their cooperation with the smart card
distribution process. In the last week, Helpdesk staff has passed out
more than 170 smartcards. To pick up a smartcard, you can visit the IT
Division Help Desk any time during hours of operation (M-F 8:00
a.m.-4:30 p.m., CEBAF Center, F-wing, 2nd Floor) or stop by one of our
“remote” locations during one of the following times:
Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2016SSC Lobby9:00am - 11:30am, 1:30pm – 4:30pm
Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017SSC Lobby9:00am - 11:30am, 1:30pm – 4:30pm
