[All_jlab_accounts] Hogan Drive Expansion Work Started Today

Beginning this morning, Oct. 24, 2016, the process began to change the 
two-lane Hogan Drive into four lanes.The work is scheduled to take 8-9 
months.The first phase will be to construct two new lanes on the 
Jefferson Lab side of Hogan.The existing road will remain open during 
this work.

The next phase will transfer all traffic to the new road, in order to 
construct the other two new lanes and the landscaped medium.Traffic 
signs will be posted.

During much of this process, the Jefferson Lab Hofstadter Road entrance 
off Hogan will be closed.Incoming traffic to the Support Service Center, 
Bldg. 28, can enter either at Lawrence Drive off Hogan or down Rattley 
Road.Traffic exiting the lab will need to leave through the 
Rattley/Hogan entrance or the Lawrence/Jefferson Ave. entrance.

An update email will go out in advance of the Hofstadter entrance closing.
