The Jefferson Lab Activities Group Oktoberfest is set for Thursday, Oct. 
27, from 3-6 p.m. on the field behind the SURA Residence Facility.

Jefferson Lab employees and users are invited to the event, which will 
feature Brunswick stew, vegetarian chili, hot dogs and bratwurst, 
pretzels, beer and other beverages.

Wear sturdy shoes and dress for potentially cool evening temperatures. 
There will be games including cornhole, giant Jenga and pick-up soccer.

In order to make this event a success, the JAG committee needs 
volunteers. Nearly 20, one-hour volunteer shifts are open in important 
areas, including food service, Jousting (inflatable) attendants, ID 
bracelets, homebrew competition bartenders, and clean up/tear down.

*Get your Tickets! United Way Raffle Drawing Will Take Place at Oktoberfest*

During the Oktoberfest, the winning tickets will be drawn for the lab's 
United Way fundraising raffle. Tickets are $1 each and are available for 
purchase from noon-1 p.m. through Thursday in the CEBAF Center atrium. 
Tickets will also be available for purchase at the Oktoberfest. All 
raffle ticket proceeds go to the United Way to support community services.

Winning tickets will be drawn for the three prizes: a GoPro HERO4, a 
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (32GB), and a $300 Best Buy Gift Card!You need not 
be present to win.
