[All_jlau] JLab Windows 7 Reboot Following Patch May Require Extra Time

During the Tuesday, April 19 maintenance period, a patch package was sent out to all JLab Computer Center-managed computers running the Windows 7 operating system. The patch included Service Pack 1. If you have not yet rebooted your Windows 7 system following the patch, be aware that there will be a 10-15 minute delay on reboot as your system installs and initiates the patches. If you have questions or experience difficulties with your machine after allowing the extra time for rebooting, contact the IT Division Helpdesk, x7155.
