All Staff and Users,

The systems now are ready to change passwords as the next to last step
for reestablishing full Internet connectivity for the lab. If sufficient
staff and users update their passwords, Internet connectivity to and
from the lab will be made available at 3:00 pm ET Monday, 7/11.
Connectivity will be delayed by one day if the number of passwords
updated by 3:00 pm Monday are insufficient.

Change your password now in order to keep your account active and to
help reestablish Internet connectivity. After 3:00 pm Monday (or delayed
at the most by one day as indicated above), if you have not changed your
password, you will need to contact the helpdesk by phone (757-269-7155)
to reactivate your account. Please use the following link to change your
password (it works both on and off-site):

https://jman.jlab.org/MasterController/JPasswdClient.jsp

IMPORTANT: If your attempt to change your password fails, please alert
the helpdesk immediately by sending an email to helpdesk at jlab.org
<mailto:helpdesk at jlab.org?subject=Password%20change%20attempt%20failed>
with the subject "Password change attempt failed".

Other notes:

    * On the password web page, you will need to enter a valid password
and check a box that says you agree to the "JLab Computer User
      Responsibilities
      <https://cc.jlab.org/jlabcomputeruserresponsibilities>" before a
submit button will appear that will let you change your password.
    * Do not use three or more consecutive letters that are in your
      name, for your new password.

Additional information including the status of various web applications
will be made available as updates occur using the following link (on
site only):
