*Workshop Attendees Will Eat Lunch at Quark Cafe, May 17-20*

The NSTAR 2011 Workshop is underway at JLab Tuesday, May 17, through 
Friday, May 20. There will be about 100 extra people eating lunch during 
the workshop's lunch break each day in the cafeteria.
To avoid crowding, individuals not involved in the workshop and who plan 
to use the cafeteria for lunch, may want to adjust their lunch times 
accordingly:
Tuesday: Eat before 12 or after 1 p.m.
Wednesday and Thursday: Eat before 12:30
Friday: Eat before 12:45 p.m.
Also, note: The CEBAF Center parking lot could become more congested 
than usual for the rest of this week.

CNI Group Sends Patches to Windows Systems Tuesday Night; Log Out But 
Leave Computer On at Day's End*

Microsoft has released several critical patches for Windows systems. Due 
to the nature of these patches, the CNI group has decided to send them 
out to all JLab Computer Center-managed Windows machines starting 
Tuesday night. If you work on one of these systems, please log out of 
all desktop computers at the end of your workday on Tuesday, but leave 
them powered on so that the patches can be installed.
If you experience difficulties with your computer in the morning, reboot 
to see if that fixes the problem before calling the IT Division 
Helpdesk, ext. 7155, for assistance.
