[All_staff] Jefferson Lab Contract Workers - Reminder

Any subcontractor working at Jefferson Lab or at any property leased by 
Jefferson Lab must be registered at 
https://www1.jlab.org/mis/cis/jris_reg_form/new_reg_form.cfm?cebaf_type=CONTRACT%20SERVICES 
and must have completed the prescribed training for access to the area 
where the work will occur prior to performing any work. 

In order to register, subcontractors need a valid contract or purchase 
order, and their company name must be listed in the drop down menu on 
the page in the link listed above.

The contracted company also must send a list of employees (with contract 
number) that will be working at Jefferson Lab to DeAnn Maddox at 
maddox at jlab.org or fax to Facilities Management at 757-269-5835. 

The minimum requirements for the campus is SAF100, and for the 
accelerator site SAF100 and GERT.  Construction subcontractors are 
required to take SAF100C in lieu of SAF100.

Existing contracts have been modified to include these requirements.  
New contracts will be issued to include these requirements.

Subcontractors are not allowed to escort anyone.

Jefferson Lab staff can escort up to 5 individuals, but the workers have 
to be registered at the above site and the escort must remain with those 
they escort at all times.
