[All_staff] Reminder: JLab Holiday Card Drawing Contest Entries Due Nov. 18

Just a reminder.  Entries are due by COB this Thursday!


Greetings JLab Staff:

The JLab Holiday Card Drawing Contest has been such a tremendous success
that we have decided to sponsor it again this year. We are asking 
children of
JLab staff to submit a drawing which will become the official JLab 
Holiday Card
for 2010.  The winner of the contest will receive a $50 Visa Gift Card, 
with the
1st and 2nd runner up each receiving a $25 Visa Gift Card.

Rules for the contest are listed below.  Good luck and thanks to all who 
participate!

Holiday Card Drawing Contest Rules:

1)  For children of JLab staff, ages 12 and under (Parents, no help please!)

2)  Deadline for drawing submission: Close of business on Thursday, 
November 18th.

3)  Drawing size should be roughly the size of the front cover of a 
greeting card.
If you fold an 8-1/2"x11" piece of paper in half, that will be close enough.

4)  Submit the drawing in a sealed envelope with a separate coversheet 
listing the
child's name and the parent's name.  No name on the actual drawing 
please (this
will void your entry).  Pat Stroop will "code"  the drawings for later 
identification.
This allows the contest to be completely objective.

5)  A panel of Lab employees will select the winning drawing on  Monday,
November 22nd, and an all-staff email will be sent out  announcing the 
winner.

6)  Be creative and have fun!
