[All_staff] FY12 Salary Adjustment Notification

Dear Colleagues,

In December 2010, The Department of Energy announced a two year salary
freeze for its contractors while still allowing for some promotions.  We
are in the second year of the freeze and have been approved to offer a
salary adjustment program as we did in the previous year.  The
adjustments will average approximately 1.5% and vary based on
eligibility, current salary level, and market comparisons.  The salary
adjustments and promotions are effective March 1, 2012 and will be
reflected in paychecks April 1, 2012.

Human Resources will be distributing letters to all employees by the end
of March.
