[All_staff] Volunteers Sought for Sept. 12 United Way Day of Caring; Sign up by Aug. 29

The local, annual United Way Day of Caring will be Friday, Sept. 
12.Jefferson Lab is in need of 20 volunteers to interact with patients 
at the veterans hospital <http://www.hampton.va.gov/>in Hampton and to 
assist them during their annual picnic.

Volunteers will assist with setup during the early part of the day and 
then assist with food and activities throughout the picnic. No prior 
experience is required.Bring a friendly smile!

If you wish to volunteer:

- Send an email to Joshua Cameron (jcameron at jlab.org 
<mailto:jcameron at jlab.org>) no later than Friday, Aug. 29. Please copy 
your immediate supervisor on this email and have your supervisor concur 
via email acknowledging your participation that day (supervisor, please 
cc: jcameron at jlab.org).

- Also by Aug. 29, completely fill out and send to Joshua the United Way 
Volunteer Waiver 
<https://www.jlab.org/sites/default/files/documents/news/memo/volunteer%20waiver%202014%20INDIV.pdf>. 
Send the completed form to him by scanning and emailing it, or send it 
through internal distribution, to Mail Stop (MS) 12B.

Please remember that he must receive your supervisor's approval in order
