/This message is being sent on behalf of the Jefferson Lab Computer Center./

This morning, you may have received an email or text page regarding
mailing lists at Jefferson Lab, with the subject "jlab.org mailing list
memberships reminder". Please disregard this email and text. The message
was due to an incorrect configuration on our mailing list server, and
you can safely ignore the email and/or text that you received.

JLab recently replaced our mailing list server with a newer system and
this setting was accidentally reset to its default value. This resulted
in the email and/or text message that you received. We have updated this
setting and are in the process of auditing all other mailman settings to
ensure that no other inappropriate configuration settings. Also, please
note that the password in the email you received is a randomized
password that is only valid to login to the mailman web interface and
modify your individual mailing list settings. We apologize for this
unexpected and unwanted email.

If you have any additional comments or concerns, please contact the IT
Division Helpdesk at helpdesk at jlab.org, or x7155.
