[All_staff] Reminder: Jefferson Lab Offering Financial Planning Workshop

Dear Colleagues, 




Today marks one week until our “lunch and learn” financial literacy workshop, hosted by TIAA-CREF. Recent surveys have shown that the nation will need more retirement savings than in past decades, and that women are lagging behind in retirement savings more than their counterparts. This statistic is just one of many reasons why now is the time to talk about saving for your future! 



TIAA-CREF will host a Financial Planning Lunch and Learn Workshop geared toward women who are interested in learning more about planning and controlling their long-term financial well-being. The entire JLab population is welcome to attend this free workshop, however the main focus of this event will be women at any point in their careers and how they might better: 

    * Understand income and outflow, and how to balance these to an advantage 
    * Identify expenses and learn how to manage them more effectively - and maybe even reduce them 
    * Plan for their financial future 



The Start to Finish Financial Workshop will be held on Tuesday, November 15, from 12:00 - 1:00 pm, in CEBAF Center, Room F113 . Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch.
