Hi Patricia,
A safe estimate for a 3 cm target with vertical cylindrical tail piece,
including all the LHe and a 65% pf, is about 0.42, not 1/2. The density
of LiD = 0.82 g/cm^3, compared with ND3's 1 g/cm^3.
Also, our ND3 dilution is a bit optimistic at 0.29. It does not include
the 1 cm He outside the ammonia cup, Al windows, NMR coil etc. A safer
number should be 0.26.
