[BDXlist] various files updated

Dear All,
starting from Elton's modifications, I also did some editing up to pg. 51:
- I made some minor corrections, including adding spaces or capital letters,
- I corrected some references to figures or multiple labels,
- I fixed fig. 25 that was hardly visible,
- I believe I may have fixed the bibliography that was not compiling 
correctly (a repeated reference).
I committed all my changes to git.
