[Bonuslist] Daily RC Report August 13th, 2020

Hi All,

this is the status and report of the BONuS experiment (Run Group F), Thursday, August 13th, 2020

In general it has been a boring data taking day, so it means it was good (no big delays)

  *   Owl:
     *   some minor issues solved immediately by the shifters
     *   Mohammad H. run at 240nA for one hour for a test
     *   the Torus alarm continued jump (there are several entries about it before this shift. But apparently it was not a steady alarm), Dan C. flagged the issue https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3826203 and was solved during the next shift https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3826492
  *   Day:
     *   no beam for two hours due to beam studies.
     *   it was noted by Eric C. and the remote shifter a hot sector in the RTPC --> https://logbooks.jlab.org/files/2020/08/3826522/RTPC_canvas0_08-13-2020_11.48.01_AM.png RTPC expert (Jiwan P.) was called and solved --> https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3826574
     *   mvt1 and 2 were showing high rates. It was addressed the real use of mvt1 and mvt2 and what was needed to take care https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3826592
     *    Low occupancy in FTOF TDC, expert rebooted ROC and was solved.
     *   during the reboot, the target was purged. 15:00
     *   with a short beam down period, Raffaella D. updated clasmon (actually she was looking for a period with beam, nevertheless is done)
  *   Swing:
     *   RTPC tripped a couple of times and in one of them it was necessary to call beam off. Jiwan P. was called and rebooted the RTPC successfully --> https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3826855. Beam was restored in small current steps to monitor RTPC stability.

We are running 200nA @ 10.4 GeV on Deuterium
