Dear all,
Figure 11 in
https://userweb.jlab.org/~hattawy/bonus_analysis/10geV_analysis/gain_test_Helium.pdf,
shows a quantitative description of how frequent a hit got written more
than once. This multiplicity distribution is for the protons tracks, with
momenta between 70 and 120 MeV/c, in helium 4 data at 2.1 GeV. It looks
like this happens at a rate less than 1%.
I have repeated the procedures on the protons from D2 run 12922 (10 GeV
run). Check figure 11 in
https://userweb.jlab.org/~hattawy/bonus_analysis/10geV_analysis/gain_test_12922_unity.pdf.
This shows that about 4% of the protons had at least one hit written more
than once.
I have seen occasional hits written more than twice.
Please let me know what you think.
Regards,
Mohammad.
