[Bteam] meeting 9/15 around 1340

Arne asked me to chair the B team meeting tomorrow in Mike's absence.

Arne and most of the CASA people will be in the MEIC review.

There will be a 1:30 scheduling meeting but it is likely to last only 
five minutes, so come at 1:35 for the B team meeting.

Agenda:

1. start-up at 549 MeV/linac this weekend.   I intend to scale allsave 
10853 on 7/22/10, with 30 nA of five pass beam to hall B, by 549/550 and 
have Ops set up starting from this.  Recall that we turned off the upper 
passes later in the run and so don't have consistent pathlength data 
after this.  MST would be used to get hall A to fifth pass after the 
initial setup.

2. pathlength vs temperature test:

After beam has been set up, change hall C to fifth pass and put CW into 
the BSY dump.  Three-way RF separator split in AT line.  Increase the 
East Arc LCW inlet temperature to ~43C to get outlet to ~50C, about half 
the temperature rise expected for 12 GeV.  Monitor pathlength with CW 
MoMod during until tunnel temperature stabilizes.  Restore inlet to 35C 
and continue monitoring until tunnel temperature is back to "normal". 
Other beam tests may be done in parallel.  Put C back to first pass.

3. what else would you like to do before Halls A and B come up Sept. 27? 
  Hall C will come up later that week.
