[BTeam] 9 out of 11 responders recommend....

9 out of 11 responders picked performing the nE01 matches before handing
over the machine to the
Halls(https://www.surveymonkey.com/analyze/QCWOd_2Fg4l5sEEEDccj_2BljREzYhmbR4A78pAB2d_2BkZh8_3D).
In order to perform this feat in the time remaining we will need to be
well organized and focused. Yesterday, I reanalyzed the Injector and
1E data. The data quality is good and analysis is rather straight
forward. In order to complete this is a timely manner, the results
of the quad scan must be analyzed and matched soon after the data is
collected, so that the matching can proceed to the next Arc. There are
about 13 matching regions, including the injector and start of the Hall
lines. If two matches can be performed on a shift, this will take 6.5
shifts, add 50% contingency and you have 10 shifts, or three days.
Sounds like a bad long weekend.

I'd like to have an organizational meeting this afternoon at 3pm to
discuss this plan. There will be shift assignments and training
opportunities.

My present thinking is that this process will start Saturday morning
with the Inj. group performing a 3-beam setup, followed by Inj. match.
From there the sequence is obvious, 1E, 2E.....

The main issue is for some locations (1E for example), the two planes
involve two distinct quadrupoles. So in order to perform the match,
the results from one of the scans has to be back propagated to the start
location of the other plane. This is something that I've done in the
past but am a bit rusty on. Otherwise, anyone that can use a text editor
and has good eyesight can perform these tasks.

Matching configuration files will also need to be developed ASAP!
Presently, only the Injector match has a configuration file.

See you at 3pm!

Arne
