Investigating the QK quads in the 4R region (MQK4R08 and
MQK4R07):

According to Tief's email, he found an anomaly with the beam
optics through the 4R region that pointed to a wiring error
in MQK4R08.

We locked out the PS for 4R08 and 4R07. Next we went
through each of the 8 coils on MQK4R08 and found coils
mislabeled and miswired.
We had to correct two sets of coils: the outer coils of
COIL #3 and #4
(C3C-C3D and C4C-C4D)
COIL 3 and 4 are the WALL side coils.
We then powered the 4R08 to 2A and confirmed the coil
voltages as a checkout procedure. The voltages repeated
from the readings taken this summer.
Next, we went to 4R07 with 2A and recorded coil voltages.
Those voltage magnitudes checked back good as well.

Please note, voltage magnitudes were recorded but not the
signs. We will update our procedure going forward to take
coil polarity in consideration when recording coil voltages.
This way we can show the direction of the current in coils
and prevent coils from bucking each other.
