[BTeam] BTeam Cancelled Today

All,

As, I mentioned Yves is out today. I was originally going to hold a short meeting today, but have been buried in other tasks today. I am sure many of you are at the Seminar and going out to lunch afterwards.

Work still is progressing as scheduled. If all goes well we will be back at 2K by Thursday in the NL.

  1. We are still planning to send beam into Hall A this weekend for the Energy calibration, If Hall A can still support this?
  2. Also, it looks like we are tracking for spin dance probably 29th or the 30th. That is of course if Hall B and Hall A can still support this then?

Again, NO BTeam today.

Thanks,
-Brian

There is much more RF heat than lem calculates in the North Linac due to
field emission increases, and therefore lower Q0(V), than lem has in its
input files. Time will be required Friday as the NL RF comes up to
balance RF heat against 2K capacity. While I expect that a solution at
1031 MeV can be found, no one can be sure of that until the experiment
is run.
