I have little clue as to why BEM looking at the D ramp shows such 
instability when the Hall D tagger does not.  Some of the AD00 BLM trips 
are likely due to real energy variation, and we've had a fair number of 
them.  Given the dispersion at MQPAD00, which as I recall from 15 years 
ago is about 6 m but isn't so shown in CED, we'd never deliver beam to 
Hall D if the energy variations were as large as BEM for ramp suggests.

o Alexandre has found energy oscillations up to 8MeV (last Friday
         was the first time, sorry I haven't seen the entry)

         the reason is unknown especially because those oscillations are
         not observed in HDTGR: p and AD00c (tagger dump position) -->
