Colleagues,

Attached are a paper and a talk on the LCLS-II system. Slide 12 of the
talk gives energy deposition allowed by their MPS.

Tech notes:

BLM over-sensitivity checks via harp swipes JLAB-TN-22-042
https://jlabdoc.jlab.org/docushare/dsweb/View/Collection-54842
BLM_testplan_summary.ods shows which BLMs tripped when harps were swiped
through tune beam. BLM_compendium.ods is the list Kitty and Brian
prepared with thoughts about which items are being "protected" by each.

Thoughts on the BLM system and Text of an LDRD to improve it	JLAB-TN-23-051
https://jlabdoc.jlab.org/docushare/dsweb/Get/Document-274218/23-051.pdf
has links (page 3) to the original TNs by Sinclair et al and our
(Kitty/me) assertions about their present (non)utility. Pages 4 and 5
have links to 15 papers including the two attached.

BSList 109361: YA steering conducted 05 October 2023	JLAB-TN-23-070
https://jlabdoc.jlab.org/docushare/dsweb/Get/Document-278043/23-070.pdf
has the results of steering beam within a mm of the YA nose pieces while
monitoring BLMs and the xenon ion chambers.
