Hi everyone,
For those of you that aren’t going to IPAC and/or don’t care about carrying poster tubes, sorry for the spam.
For everyone else, I’ve just sent my poster for printing at Spoonflower: https://www.spoonflower.com/presentation-posters
They currently have a turnaround that gets the poster to you in time, if you want. Mine is due on the 7th at the latest with Rush ordering. It cost me about $60. I know Chris has used them in the past, and his poster turned out nicely (it’s at his cubicle). Just follow the directions on that link.
I used originally made my poster at 300 dpi (A0 size). I had to downsize it to 200 dpi (they recommend a minimum of 150) because my file size was about 57 MB, and they require under 40 MB. I also had to rotate it horizontally so that it would fit in the previewer (and printer). I just wanted to let people know, since I’ve heard that the ODU fabric printer is currently broken (still?).
Cheers!
Ryan
