[Clas12_first_exp] Status update

Dear All,
The problem with the torus VCL heater could not be fixed today and will require intervention by the magnet group tomorrow. Ruben and others will come in tomorrow morning at 7 am to replace the module that is controlling this heater and that is currently malfunctioning.
In the meantime, we are taking zero field data on empty target for alignment purposes. We’ll continue till 11pm tonight. At that time, we will terminate beam and go to controlled access, in preparation for the work on the torus tomorrow morning. 
Owl shift this night has been cancelled while day shifts tomorrow morning will be staffed as usual.
The beam studies tomorrow scheduled for four hours are expected not to be fully invasive, so we will try to restore beam as soon as the torus issue is resolved. 
There are a few additional tasks on ctof and cnd that we will try to complete parasitically. Please coordinate with me and the PDL any other urgent activity in the hall that you may want to complete tomorrow.
