Dear all,
*Update on the outbending data calibration and processing:*
* The final pass0 for the outbending data has been completed
yesterday as well as the monitoring histograms. Timeline has been
submitted last night, however there are some technical difficulties
that Andrey is working on this morning. I will send an email to
everyone once the problem is resolved with the link to the timeline.
* The required decoding of the outbeding run period is completed.
* Pass1 Review for the outbenidng is scheduled for this coming Wednesday
*We have also started this Thursday on the following tasks in parallel:*
* *Started the process for the calibration of the initial part of the
Fall 2018 inbending: *Launched new monitoring/timeline of the first
part of the inbending 4763 to 5031 with the latest monitoring code
in order to refine our requirements for re-calibration of each
system and determine for which run this is needed. During this
period we were doing a lot of detector & DAQ studies. Several runs
were taken for setting up the trigger and the detector HV,
thresholds and timing etc. We have identified all the special and
production runs that we need to process from this period. Our
initial effort is to complete the calibration and processing of runs
needed for the tracking efficiency studies and all the low
luminosity runs, followed by the calibration and processing of the
production runs. Once done this will complete the RGA - Fall2018
data set!!
* *Started the process for the calibration of RGA-Spring 2018 Run
Period:* Launched the processing run 4013 to derive the initial
calibration for all all CLAS12 subsystems for one large section of
spring 2018 run period. This section is our benchmark set of runs
that we have calibrated, analyzed and presented at DNP 2018.
* *Started the process for the calibration of RGA-Spring 2019 Run
Period*: Launched the processing of 10 files/run for pass0 from the
spring 2019 with an initial calibration that was derived few weeks
ago with almost the latest release. This run period was very stable,
the effort to complete the calibration of this run period will not
be very large.
Once we have the last 2 bullets completed we will have good
understanding of the data quality and the effort required to complete
each run period. Then we will need to decide as run group on the
priority to complete data calibration and processing between spring 2018
and spring 2019 RGA-Run Periods.
Best regards,
Latifa
