Dear RGA,
Last week the software group released the tentative pass-2 tags, 8.4.0 and 8c.4.0 (8c.4.0 having the new CVT software). I realize we’ve had quite a few of these “please analyze these runs” emails, but I promise they have been very helpful. It would be great, particularly if you have a CVT intensive analysis, to perform some analysis on these two sets of runs. We expect 8c.4.0 to have higher yield and better resolution in the central detector than 8.4.0 without any real drawbacks except for possible limitations on efficiency from detached vertices. Additionally, any comparisons you have already done between previous cooks and pass-1 could be repeated using the 8c.4.0 runs. Any other comments related to the software/files are welcome; we’re reaching a “Speak now or forever hold your peace” moment… (which is good!)
The physics runs are located at
8.4.0: /volatile/clas12/rg-a/production/pass0/Spring19/sp19_dst_ai_v1_14_01/
8c.4.0:/volatile/clas12/rg-a/production/pass0/Spring19/sp19_dst_ai_v1_14_newCVT/
Additionally, if you’re interested, RGB also cooked two sets of their own Sp19 runs,
/volatile/clas12/rg-b/production/recon/pass0/v28.34_8c.4.0
/volatile/clas12/rg-b/production/recon/pass0/v28.34_8.4.0
Best regards,
Timothy
