Dear all,
the first data taking of RGB has officially finished. We obtained 10.5 PAC
days (according to the ABUs) during this month, which, summed to the
spring and fall runs, brings us to 38.9 PAC days (43.2% of the total
approved days).
I think we should be happy, because in spite of the various difficulties
we obtained a good fraction of the data. And with the great team we have
we'll be able to get results out very soon.
I want to thank very much everybody who collaborated, all the RCs, the
PDL, the shift takers, the detector experts, Sergei!! (we'd all be dead
without him), the Hall-B engineering staff, our amazing chef, the
calibrators, the monitorers, the software gurus, and all those I may have
forgotten! It has been a great experience.
There won't be an RGB meeting tomorrow - we take a little break while I
fly back home. We'll meet again next Friday, and meanwhile we'll keep on
working on calibrations and monitoring to be ready soon for pass1 cooking.
Thanks again to you all and best regards,
Silvia
