Hi Annalisa,
The letter looks reasonable for me. Small change:
such as π-π+p, ωp, etc. may still provide enough statistics for a publication. ----->
such as π-π+p may still provide enough statistics for a publication. However publication of the cross sections for this 3-body final state requires huge efforts on understanding of the detector responses for pi^+pi^-and p, evaluation of the detection efficiencies binned over the 7D grid, location of the inefficient CLAS12 areas, development of the methods for evaluation of 5-fold differential cross sections in the blind zones of zero efficiencies and, therefore, may take significant time for the result preparation.
Best Regards,
Victor

Annalisa,
I think the draft letter makes the case quite clearly of our opinions and the planned agreement with
RG-A makes good sense to me as someone who is part of both RG-K and RG-A. I support the
letter as written.
Regards,
Daniel

Dear All,
after last RGK meeting, some additional thinking and exchange of information with Raffaella, I have put together a draft letter to answer the CCC request information, which you may find at:
https://userweb.jlab.org/~annalisa/hybrid_baryons/RGK_response_to_CCC.docx
In a nut shell I would like to propose that the new trigger requiring a central hadron could be implemented and commissioned as soon as possible during RGA, not to loose time during our assigned RGK data taking. RGA could take all the Spring data taking in return.
This would optimize the overall efficiency.
Please let me know your opinion on the matter.
Any comment/correction/suggestion is highly appreciated
All the best
Annalisa
p.s. we may discuss the matter tomorrow at the RGK weekly meeting.
