Francois,
The RG-A fall 2018 run period that is being cooked is in the range from 5032 to 5419. The
run range from 4760 to 5031 will be investigated shortly. The calibrations were not finished
for this period because there were so many changes ongoing with regard to trigger, timing,
and voltage changes, that identifying only a few reference runs were not so simple. The plan
is to come back to this period after the outbending cooking gets underway.
As for what defines “good enough” for the calibration of each subsystem, this was guided
overall by the system specifications convoluted with what could be achieved at the current
time given the state of calibrations, reconstructions, and alignments. The calibration timelines
before the start of the inbending cooking were reviewed by the subsystem folks and by the
RG-A folks in detail in the days leading up to the start of pass-1 cooking.
For your specific questions on the DC, the calibration suite and calibration of reference run
was available only in the last few days before cooking began. The fluctuations in the residual
mean vs. run number are still being explored and a plan to reduce the variations is being
considered (e.g. correlating variations with atmospheric pressure). This is still a ways off in the
future, so we could not delay the start of pass-1 cooking for the first publication.
Regards,
Daniel

Dear Dan
Thank you
Is there a subrange that was approved for cooking from this link, or was the full range from 4763 to 5655 approved? I see some fluctuations outside the range 4913 to 5540 for instance FD electron RF time. DC mean residuals also show fluctuations comparable to their sigma
Maybe I misunderstand what the calibration quality specifications are
Best regards

Francois,
The timelines are posted at: https://clas12mon.jlab.org<https://clas12mon.jlab.org/>
If you select RG-A, the latest timeline for RG-A 2018 is 2.2.8 (done just this weekend for the
ongoing outbending studies), but the previous timelines in the list, 2.2.5a, were used as the
based of approval for the RG-A fall 2018 inbending cooking.

Daniel

Dear Annalisa, all
Do we have a link to RGA corresponding timeline that was approved for cooking? So we have a reference to judge fluctuations
Thanks

Dear All,
the RGK pass0 timelines are ready ad available at
https://clas12mon.jlab.org/rgk/pass0/v2.2.2/tlsummary/
please take a look at them to check for instabilities which may need
calibration of additional runs.
All the best
