Dear Annalisa,
Today Volker and I will not be able to attend RGK as we are at BNL for
an EIC meeting.
_*Status update and answer to your questions*_:
*Here is the update: *We have a good calibration for for run 5700 for
7.5 GeV and 5893 for 6.5 GeV is being calibrated, and pass0 is in
progress. Final release expected this weekend.
_*Your questions*_
The plan is to do the same quality checks for RGK for helicity and
detector performance, if there is any additional help needed for RGK we
will let you know, for now Christopher and Andrey are finalizing the
framework and the criteria.
Yes, the plan is to have quality check/histo based on what FX has been
doing. Andrey is doing something similar. The plan is to coordinate the
effort and produce final list of monitoring histograms to produce per
run that are necessary and sufficient to check the quality of the
data/run. We will organize them in a given directory, and check
reference run for each configuration/calibration changes in the logbook.
This week we will have the final release for pass1, Raffaella has shown
last Wednesday indications for potential good improvement with the new
CVT tracking. Very good news. We will have more details once we cook the
data with the new release which is expected this weekend for one run
from RGK and one run from RGA.
Please send any additional feedback that we can incorporate as we are in
full preparation of pass1 review for RGA. Anything we do for RGA would
be helpful for RGK pass1 review.
Best regards,
Latifa
