[clas12_rgk] [EXTERNAL] New version of the letter for RG-K pass1 request to CCC

Hi Volker,

In addition. The confinement is encoded in the presence of the inflection point in the momentum dependence of dressed quark mass. Credible access to the dressed quark mass function from the data will be justified if we will describe elastic nucleon ff and electrocouplings of different N* states with the SAME dressed quark mass function. Validation of the momentum dependence of dressed quark mass from combined studies of the ground nucleon elastic ff and different gvpN* electroexcitation amplitudes, therefore, will open accesses to the presence/location of the inflection point or to the quark-gluon confinement.

Best Regards,
                          Victor

Hi Volker,

I want to justify why the excited nucleon states offer new insight into the light quark confinement. It is because they are the only source of the information on many facets of strong QCD underlying the confinement which can be seen in the generation of different structural features of different excited nucleon states.

 Best Regards,
                                    Victor

Victor,
Not sure I understand that additional text. The excited baryons are already prominently referred to in the original text:

"... while at the same time presenting new avenues towards clarifying the degrees of freedom active in the excitation of baryons and providing new insight into the so far unresolved problem of understanding the confinement of light quarks. "

Hi Annalisa.

Just a single proposed edit:

new insight into the so far unresolved problem of understanding the confinement of light quarks--->
new insight into the so far unresolved problem of understanding the confinement of light quarks from the exploration of many facets of the strong QCD relevant for the excited nucleons of distinctively different structures.

Dear All,

please find in attachment the updated version of the letter for RG-K
pass1 request to be submitted to CCC.

It takes into account the result of the discussion form the last RG-K
meeting.

Please send me your comments by next Wednesday March 4th , so we may
send it to the CCC by the end of next week.

All the best

Annalisa
