Hi,

Gagik and I are releasing a code distribution that encapsulates both framework and user-development and testing environments. Installation and running instructions can be found on https:claraweb.jlab.org site, yet we bring here a few basic steps the are required to install and run class12 data processing applications:

1) remove your old distribution, including clara installer (install-claracre-clas). REQUIRED 
2) download installer from https://claraweb.jlab.org/docs/clara/_downloads/install-claracre-clas
3) set environmental variable CLARA_HOME pointing to “clara-are” directory under a “work” (arbitrary) directory.
4) $CLARA_HOME/bin/install-claracre-clas
5) $CLARA_HOME/bin/run-clara

Release notes:
- clear separation between production and development environments
- ability updating installed distributions by specifying different version of coatjava (option -u -p)
- secure monitoring
- minor bug fixes

Note on monitoring:
Clara monitoring database is set to be read-only. This means that only clara applications running at JLAB will be able to report parameters for monitoring. However, users from everywhere will be able to monitor data processing activities at the lab. So, you can still run your data processing applications outside of the JLAB, but monitoring will not be possible at the clarawe.jlab.org:3000 site.
