I just tried the installation method at the link below and it worked for me.  Is that what you followed?

On the other question, probably need to start with more info, e.g. software versions, configuration and sequence of commands you ran, where's the logs/data.

A default set does not come with the distribution.

I have lost the ability to reconstruct electrons using the "notsouseful"
script.  Although pions are reconstructed well, the electron momentum and
phi angle are not.
