[Clas12_software] /group/clas12/packages versioning announcment

Hello All,


As discussed in recent software meetings (see the minutes/presentation for August 8 and 29), we’re finalizing the policy on updating and versioning software builds at /group/clas12/packages, as documented here:

**** Also, tomorrow, September 10 at 8AM (JLab time), the pro/production environment will be changed to point to clas12/2.0, which amounts to these changes:

gemc/4.3.0 -> gemc/4.3.1
clas12tool/1.0 -> clas12root/1.0
jaw/0.8 -> jaw/2.0

As a reminder, to setup your “pro” environment:

source /group/clas12/packages/setup.csh (or setup.sh for bash)
module load clas12/pro
