Can you give a simple example to reproduce it?

Hello Nathan,
    I am turning to use the latest release, clas12/pro, and getting a new graphics error in some analysis
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org.jlab.groot.graphics.EmbeddedCanvas.draw(Lorg/jlab/groot/data/IDataSet;)V
note that using the previous module, clas12/2.4, no issues are seen.

Anything I should be aware of while using the latest release?

Mohammad.

Hello Everyone,

The production versions of CLAS12 software will be updated tomorrow at 5PM.

In particular, GEMC version 4.4.1 replaces 4.4.0 by fixing an issue that caused the energy deposited in ECAL to drop in a region near the beamline, the generators on OSG will now accept an automatic RNG seeding option to get unique seeds across jobs, and the “twopeg” generator for pi+pi- electro-production is now included on OSG.

The clas12/pro environment module will change at that time as follows:

clas12/pro 2.4 -> 2.4.1
ced 1.4.62 -> 1.4.70
clas12root 1.5.1 -> 1.6
coatjava 6.5.9 -> 6.5.13
gemc 4.4.0 -> 4.4.1

If you want to use the new version before then, you can do:

> module load clas12/2.4.1

or to get just a subset of the new stuff:

> module load clas12 ; module switch packagename/newversion

or to rollback afterwards:

> module load clas12/2.4
