Dear Eugene,
        Thanks for the inquiry. Unfortunately, completion of this report 
has been more problematic than usual at least partially due to the PAC 
chair being a member of the NSAC subcommittee. Nevertheless, there is 
recent activity that I think indicates that a final report should be 
available soon. I apologize for the delay, and I do realize this is a 
problem. I am looking at some steps to correct the situation as we go 
forward.

     Regarding PAC40, I contacted Volker Burkert and he indicated that 
if we schedule any CLAS12 proposals at the beginning of the PAC meeting 
we should be able to avoid a conflict. I hope you agree that this 
solution is acceptable.
