Hi Hovanes,
I have merged the last three paragraphs of the introduction into one;
moved the last sentence to spearhead. Hopefully this will address most
of the concerns of the committee. I have checked this back into the
repository after starting with the latest version. I assume no other
changes were made during this brief time.
On the suggestion of stating that we are using a neutron target in the
abstract, I'm not sure we need to do this. The first sentence states
that we use deuterium, and in fact experimentally that is all we can say
anyway. I do not think it is a large jump for the audience to think that
deuterium is being used because it has a neutron. (It would be unlikely
that we use deuterium to study reactions off the proton). However, this
can be discussed in a broader group.
Cheers, Elton.
