[Clas_hadron] NSTAR Talk for Hanretty

Was I missing something? I see only 23 slides. Many of the 59 you may see in
a PDF viewer are a type of animation.

As far as notes though, looks good to me except for these rather minor
things:

slide 4: could be clearer. many points you make are related and the first
two could be combined. something like "past experiments have primarily
studied these states via single meson FS reactions." Also, you imply (by the
indentations) that the widths are a result of the the topology of the
channels studied. Also, it is unclear how you connect these "missing
resonances" to polarization observables. Maybe a slide rearrangement would
solve this (see next note).

slides 11-15: I would put these slides BEFORE you talk about the CLAS
detector (after slide 6). I believe its best to present the physics first,
say what you want to measure, and then talk about how you measure it.

slide 17 and 18: these two probably unnecessary in this talk -- I would put
them at the end as an appendix. It can be mentioned that these corrections
were done, but they have nothing to do with the physics involved.

slides 21 and 22: very difficult to read the plots on the bottom. If you
could colorize (colz) the phi vs theta scatter plot and lighten it up so
that the black points overlay, it might be better, but its still hard to see
any pattern in the points I think. Maybe you could connect the points with a
line to guide the eye?

slide 23: the para-perp/para+perp equation might be better placed back with
slide 15 because the transition to slide 16 seems abrupt.

slide 25: the highlighting effect is lost here (blue is too dark and looks
like black).

slide 26 and 27: these slide are exactly the same.
slide 39 and 40: these slide are exactly the same.

slides 56-57: the y axis on the plot needs to be zoomed in -- probably from
-0.8 to 0.8   or better yet   -0.8 to 0.4

slide 58: I would remove the line: "The issue of missing resonances is ...".
Also it is unclear what you mean by "first for a...". And finally, the
phrase "aid in the revelation of the internal dynamics of the baryon" seems
entirely too broad for the audience you are speaking to, but I am not sure I
would remove it, maybe just make it a bit more specific.
