XII Seminar on Software for Nuclear, Subnuclear and Applied Physics
​"​
 <https://agenda.infn.it/conferenceModification.py?confId=8781>
​will occur from 24 to 29 May, 2015 in Alghero (Italy, SS).

​The Seminar is aimed at PhD students and young researchers,
interested on software. The school is organised in didactic units,
lectures and practical sessions on the recent software developed in
fundamental physics as well as in applied physics. Moreover, within
the seminar an official beginner course on the Monte Carlo code
Geant4, strictly linked with a shorter hands-on course on the analysis
tool Root, ​
​
​is included,
featuring
​lessons and practical exercises given by official Geant4 developers​.

The fee of the course has been fixed at 100 euro.

A restricted number of grants, including the school fee and the hotel,
is available for students and PhD researchers. The selection will be
done evaluating the CV and the publications of the applicants.
