Hi all,
Many of you have received this already from the UGBoD chair, Sebastian
Kuhn. Take this email just as a reminder that this is an important issue
for all of us.
Best regards,
Volker Burkert

Dear Jefferson Lab users,
I promise this is my last reminder - there are only a few days
left (until next Monday, 10/22) to sign our petition at
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dHRvLUdVX2RLczJIakZ5bmY2SDZ4ZkE6MA#gid=0
I want to thank the over 200 of you who have already done so, but with
600 people listed on at least one of the 12 GeV proposals, I hope we can
increase this number even more. Again, please spread the word to your
colleagues, students, postdocs, advisors,? Also, since I was asked: I
realize that the text of the petition sounds a bit "parochial", from the
point of view of US users; however, we urge all international users to
sign on, as well.
I will present the text and your "signatures" to the NSAC subcommittee
next week at the DNP meeting in Newport Beach. Please join us for the
"Hadronic Town Meeting" there if you can:

Thank you - Sebastian
