Dear CLAS Collaborators

When swapping your assigned shifts for the run extension and up to the end of this calendar year, please only select blocks from 13 March onwards.
Shifts assigned before that date are from the original allocation made months ago and should not be changed unilaterally by a swap.
If you feel you really need another individual’s/institute’s block from a date before 13 March, please request a Trade with them.

Apologies for not making this explicit in my original email.

Bryan

Dear CLAS Collaborators

Since the announcement of the Accelerator schedule, we are now publishing the Shifts Schedule for the upcoming CLAS12 run periods covering the extension March 2019 -> April 2019 and the fall running November 2019 -> December 2019.

This results in a total of 120 shift blocks to be covered. Some points to keep in mind:

- The allocation is based upon the number of Term and Full Members listed at your Institute in such a way that you should expect a number of blocks over the period which is proportional to your percentage of CLAS Membership.

- As you will know from the recent CLAS meeting, ITEP and MSU have been exempt from shifts which is why they do not appear.

- The Swap and Trade periods are set as follows and are applicable for the entire allocation up to December 2019:
Foreign Institute Swaps: 13th December (today) until 23rd January 2019
Domestic Institute Swaps: 24th January 2019 until 16th February 2019
Trades: Open any time since they require acceptance from both parties.

All shifts for the run extension period (March -> April) must have names assigned by the end of February 2019 at the request of the PDL.

The schedule can be found here:

As ever, if you have any issues please contact me and I will be happy to help.

Regards
Bryan (Shiftbot)
