The final schedule for this years robotics capstone presentations has been finalized. Student teams will provide a short presentation that describes the work completed for the robotics capstone.  [Calendar and link below, 5:45]. As in the past there are multiple approaches to the capstone.  The teams are expected to provide an overview of the total project and then focus on the specifics of their contributions, effort, successes and perhaps unsolved problems.  Each student is expected to present but teams can present together.

Please be clear to highlight when presenting your role in the work.

If any team needs help or further information you can contact me and we can schedule a conversation.

PHYS:388  ==========================
The XLAB class presentations are also on the schedule.  Each team will have a chance to present.  We will discuss in more detail the strategy that we use to effectively explain the semester’s work but the schedule sets a target for completion.

Faculty =============================
Please spread the word to colleagues that may be interested.  Our students in the minor have often done incredible things and it is part of our duty to attend and hear the accomplishments of our hard working students.  Keep the date open and plan on attending.

GENERAL=================
Notice the schedule has included  -> Networking with Industry Professionals.  This will be an opportunity to discuss careers with people in the field and companies that need people with the backgrounds developed in STEM education. You were asked to provide feedback as to the companies that were of interest and the committee will attempt to bring representatives based on this poll.   This is an opportunity but not a requirement.

This is a public event and all are welcome so parents and friends may want to join you.
